    Abstract

    Abstact: Rural banking (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat – BPR) have realize that self management practices will give important contribution to the work satisfaction. This research investigates the role of self management practices influencing work satisfaction for employees in rural banking (BPR). It is a survey research by survey research type. The respondents are participants from employees in rural banking organizations in Magelang regency, Central Java. The technique of sampling utilizes purposive sampling. The amount of sample, which required the criteria to be examining, is 111 respondents. The technique of statistics applied in this research is parsial regression. The result of hypothesis examining explains that; there is planning and goal setting influence to work satisfaction; there is access management influence to work satisfaction; there is catch up activities influence to work satisfaction; and there is emotion management influence to work satisfaction. .
