Abstract

The global economic crisis that jumped at countries in the world caused poverty, especially in rural areas. To cultivate the strength in the sector of agriculture as the economic base of the government Country through the Department of Agriculture launched the agroindustry program that more headed in industrialisation in rural areas. The development of agroindustry in rural areas more was aimed at the formation of the Sentra Agroindustri Region (KSA) that connected between the rural territory, sub- urban and urban areas. Considering in a sociological manner was gotten by the difference of the character between three region then was needed the fastener between the three of them in the form of “agroindustry community”. The agroindustry community involved the role of the farmer, the government and private enterprise in one alliance. The form of the alliance that in involving the three components in having the acknowledgment of their respective existence was the strategic alliance complementary vertical. With this alliance was hoped the level of welfare of the farmer could as the core of the community increase together with the success of the development of agroindustry in rural areas.
