Abstract

Hybryd membrane of Polymetylmethacrylate (PMMA)/Tetraethyl Orthotitanate (TEOT) has succesfully been made by using phase inversion technique which was gained by addition an amount of TEOT. This TEOT is used as inorganic precursor in solution of PMMA. In this research, hybryd membrane PMMA/TEOT was being synthesized in various concentration of PMMA. Membrane produced by this technique were characterized with FTIR, SEM, and TGA methods. FTIR analysis result showed that the membrane has similar functional group and it has strong bond at increased PMMA’s concentration. SEM analysis result showed that the membrane is categoryzed as assimetric membrane which has changing in morfology, the higher PPMA’s concentration was, the best membrane was gained. TGA analysis showed that the membrane has more stable temperature in higher concentration of PMMA. Keyword: Hybrid membrane, PMMA, TEOT, Fase inverse
