    Abstract

    ABSTRACT APPLICATION OF FLOW ZONE INDICATOR FOR PREDICTING PERMEABILITY AND IRREDUCIBLE FLUID SATURATION BY SANDSTONE A1 IN ‘CRZ’ FIELD ON SOUTHERN BASIN OF CENTRAL SUMATERA Compiled by : Cahya Ryan Zulistiar 115 070 045 Detailer comprehension and awareness about the reservoir stone heterogeneity level is tremendously required, especially at the development level of a field, optimization gain and effectiveness of wipe out or drainage process as one of the reason to reservoir evaluation in pore scale. This research was held in ‘CZR’ field in the southern part of Batupasir A1, Bekasap Formation, Central Sumatera Basin, area of chemistry injection (Surfactant-Polymer). Reservoir evaluation based on the analysis core stones result which are come from two different wells by applying Flow Zone Indicator (FZI) concept. Resulted five indicator zones with the consistent characteristic with its ability to distinguish each unit, in this case the radius of pores, result from the capillary pressure test and unreduced fluid saturation. Parameter and characteristic which is obtained before in core stone well will be distributed to the other wells on the same area to find out the stream of unit fluid model in each well. The result of the average grade of permeability from all wells of unit fluid are FZI 1 = 34362,4 mD, FZI 2 = 19205,4 mD, FZI 3 = 5824,5 mD, FZI 4 = 1478,5 mD, and FZI 5 = 225,3 mD, and average grade of fluid saturation unreduced is 11% for unreduced water saturation and 14% for unreduced oil saturation. Whereupon, petrophysical analysis done for speculating the amount of residual oil by producing 3 MMBO residual oil. Key word : Flow Zone Indicator (FZI), Pore Scale, Irreducible fluid saturation
