Abstract
Agro-industry developments in Indonesia are intended to the development of society empowerment, including farmer and peasant, trough out the facilities and public infrastructure. The development of agro industry system, including small industry and handmade directed on the development of organization, the capability of technology to utilize the natural resources potency. Therefore, the agro industry development must take it potency and it capability. Perencanaan Pengembangan Kawasan Sentra Agroindustri (P-KSA) is one form of area planning for strategic sector that hoping will push the acceleration of value added that will be following by the increasing of production of agricultural sub sector on the central production such as: food plant, plantation, forestry, fishery, and livestock that is supporting by relevant infrastructure. The P-KSA concept can stand by itself and or united in one area depend on center production potency also the geographic distance factor and accebilities, so the state of center of production is not influenced by administrative boundaries. It has been done to increase the growth and the development distribution based on society economy in an area with hoping the level of farmer welfare will increase as long as agro industry development in rural area.
