    Abstract

    This study aims to understand the perceptions of individuals who are categorized in Generation Y to the sexual appeal ads. Moral aspects of idealism and relativism becomes the priority. The subject of the research is individuals aged 18-30 years. Individuals are classified as generation Y. The number of subjects are 32 from 40 questionnaires sent. The result of this study indicates that there is no difference in perception of the ads with sexual themes to individuals who have a value of idealism and relativism moral. This is caused by the existence of the soul or the characteristics of generation, namely expression, tranparency, reinventing and connection. Keywords: generation Y, idealism, relativism.
