Abstract

This research analyzed the influence of local government policy in managing local budget (Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah) which in public budget alocating in education, health, and infrasctructur for human developing in DIY Province based on the data of year 2004 to 2008. The method used to analyze the hypotheses was the regression analysis (α = 5%). The results showed that had no significant effect on education, health, and infrastructur for human development using time lag 2 and 3 years. Keywords: local budget, human development index
