    Abstract

    The natural resources of gold is generally found in the bowels of the earth in the form of quartz veins containing gold are still mixed with the mineral association is referred to as gold ore. Research production of gold and gold mine gold produced from mines in Indonesia during 1990 to 2011 have ups and downs. The study aims to determine the level of gold production in Indonesia during the years 1990-2011, so it can be a source of policy decisions and investor interest in gold mining in Indonesia. Data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis discussed the figures obtained observations to obtain a more interesting, useful and easier to understand. The results demonstrate the potential gold mine production in Indonesia is quite large. Total production for the year 1990- 2011 amounting to 2,501,849.73 pounds. Gold mine production 113,720.4423 pounds on average per year. Low of 64390.00 pounds production occurred in 2008, along with the condition of the monetary and banking crisis that hit countries in Europe and other continents. The highest gold mine production in 2011 amounted to 148,528.00 pounds. Keywords: production, mining, gol
