Abstract
This study examine the effect of stress to relation between leadership style and job satisfaction. Leader style initiating structure and consideration is used a framework to analyze the effects of leader behavior in the job satisfaction of the member of auditing team. The sampling technique applied is convenience sampling. The number of population are 113 auditor from BPKP and 29 auditor from BPK. The number of sample are 50 auditor from BPKP and 25 auditor from BPK. Research data is primary data collected by sending questionaire direct to BPK office and BPKP office in Yogyakarta. The respondent is auditor in BPK and BPKP Yogyakarta. Test hypothesis done by using regrestion analysis with intervening variable. The result of this research indicates there is the effect indirect between leadership style and job satisfaction pass through a job strees as intervening variable. With standardized estimated negative value. When job strees is rise, job satisfaction is go down. Keyword : Leadership style, job strees and satisfaction
