    This research present about to predict the optimum of moisture content value in process wood kiln drying. The product quality that wood kiln drying determined by accuracy and moisture content. The aim of forecast moisture content value this optimum will increase quality from wood dehydration result that impact wood endurance. This moisture content value influenced by machinery variable, so that to get optimal result necessary is done variable arrangement dry kiln correct. With Design of Experiment (DOE) taguchi method, can be used to predict the optimal moisture content value so fast and low cost. From the counting is got the optimal moisture content value, that is 17.3334 %, with the optimum level factor for temperature (A2) = 50 oC, The vast object profile (B1) =415 cm2, the relative of air humidity (C2) = 80 %, time (D3) = 15 days and happen performance enhanced as big as 0.57 % to compare with previous arrangement.
