Abstract

ESTIMASI DAN PERAMALAN HARGA CABE DI KABUPATEN KULONPROGO The Red Chili Price Estimation and Forcast at Kulonprogo District Indah Widowati ASTRACT Red chili is one vegetable commodities which has a high economical value. It is also a sort of important vegetable that planted in many places all over Indonesia. The fluctuation of red chili prices indicates that the red chili farming has a high risk. Therefore, farmers with limited capital should make a good planning to plant this kind of vegetable first to minimize the possible risk. This research objective is to estimate the monthly red chili price and to make the for cast of the price in the following period at Kulonprogo district. The result of this research indicates that the price of the red chili is influenced by the trend of time and seasons. If the time is one month longer, the price increase up to Rp 561 854,- every hundred kilograms. The variety of prices also depends on the seasons. It increases from January until July, and then begins to decrease from August until January. Keywords : price fluctuation, trend of time, season.
