    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Andesite stone crushing activities at PT. Perwita The work consists of two stages of crushing using a crusher Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher as the first and second crusher. The raw materials for stone crusher plant Andesite is derived from the people in the mining Progo were transported to the PT. Perwita work using Dump Truck Hino brands. Products produced in the form of crushed stone size: 1. -25 + 5 mm, with a production of 59.77 tons /hour. 2. -5 mm, with a production of 16.65 tons / hour. Production targets set by PT. Perwita work amounting to 670 tons / day. Stone crusher plant capacity to produce new Andesite Andesite stone size -25 + 5 mm and -5 mm by 76.42 tonnes / h or 602.95 tons / day (90% of target) so there is still a shortfall of 67.05 tonnes / days. To achieve the production targets set by PT. Perwita work of 670 tons / day is necessary to assess the readiness tool on the crusher unit, an assessment of the reduction ratio, an assessment of the effectiveness of crusher equipment, and the effectiveness of working hours. Efforts are made to meet the production target of 670 tonnes / day could do with some improvement alternatives are: 1. alternative I Adding a number of feeds per hour is and the replacement of old brands Mcc Cone Crusher cone crusher 600 with brand new Minyu Mcc 1000 2. alternative II The number of feeds per hour is Menambahan, removal of double deck screen position after a jaw crusher and replace the old brand Mcc Cone Crusher cone crusher 600 with brand new Minyu Mcc 1000. The results obtained after efforts to repair the alternative alternatives I and II produced the final product 85 tons / hour and 7.89 hours working time / day of the production targets that are targeted by the company amounted to 670 tons / day can be met.
