Abstract
To improve profitability, it is now not a few companies that have used information technology as a tool in their business processes. It is also seen in the company's retail, eg supermarkets or grocery stores and supermarkets are competing to improve services. One way to improve services by providing sufficient stocks are sought by customers. A spending patterns can be formed from transactions made by consumers. Of consumer shopping behavior can be attributed to a pattern of spending to support decision making in the provision of goods. In addition, the relationship between the items with each other will also be visible. In this paper, the authors apply the apriori algorithm to determine the relationship between a product and through this study is expected to be found steps in implementing these algorithms and known whether important information can be obtained from transaction data store market basket analysis techniques.
