    Abstract

    The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence job satisfaction and its impact on the employee performance of the Culture Department of the DIY Province. Factors in this study is the factor of transformational leadership style, motivation and work environment. Research using all 80 employees of DIY provincial cultural department, Hypothesis testing is done by structural equation modeling (SEM), which is a multivariate analysis technique that combines the factor analysis and path analysis making it possible to test and estimate the relationship between exogenous variables and the endogenous variables. Partial least square (PLS) method is used to determine the effect of transformational leadership style, motivation and work environment to job satisfaction and job satisfaction to performance. The results on this research showed that transformational leadership style, motivation and work environment are have positive influence and significantly to job satisfaction and job satisfaction has positive influence and significantly to employee performance.
