    Abstract

    Micronization technology provides possibilities to deliver drug in human body other than through oral or gastrointestinal track. Drug delivery performance is the capability of the drug to deliver the therapeutic agents to the appropriate site. This research was aimed to achieve composite therapeutic agents-polymer micro particle using particles from gas saturated solutions (PGSS) and to study the temperature and pressure saturation chamber dependence and composition dependence of the composite therapeutic agents-polymer micro particle structure formation. In this research, ketoprofen and polyethylene glycol was melted by supercritical fluids before sprayed through nozzle. Then micro particles formed was analyzed to identify its morphology and size using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). Pressure and temperature operation will influence the structure variation of composite ketoprofen-polyethylene glycol produced. Key words : PGSS, supercritical CO2 ,micro particle, SEM
