Membran yang diperoleh diuji kinerjanya menggunakatlra rutan nira tebu. Dari hasil percobaand iperoleh kondisi yang relatif baik yaitu pada komposisi( Yob erat) selulosaa setat: aseton: formamida( 12,5:52,5:35d) an waktu penguapan4 5 detik; membran memiliki fluks 6,1698 Um2jam,r ejeksi terhadapT SS 91,12% dan permeasiie rhadaps ukrosa 89o/o. Kata kunci: membrans elulosaa setatn, ira tebu,r ejeksi,p ermeasi Abstract In the current the canes ugarp rocesst,h e liquid sugarc anei s purified by physical and chemicalp rocesses that needm uche nergya nd producer vasteM. embranep rocesss eparationis alternativew ay for puriffing it. In this researchm, embranew as preparedfr om cellulosea cetateb y phasei nversionm ethodw ith acetonea s a solvent and formamide as additive. The experiment was conducted by varying cellulose acetate concentration and evaporation period. Cellulose aseatat, acetone and formamide with a particular compositioni s stined for 3-4 hours until homogeneousM. ixture is then filled into the bottle and closed tightly and left for I day. Furthermoret,h e mold is pouredo n flat glassa nd evaporatedd uring the allotted time. Mattera nd its lining membraneis insertedi n a tub filled with watera t a temperature2 oCf or 5 minutes, the membranew as then dried.. Performanceo f membrane producedw as tested determinationb y liquid sugar cane. The result of the experiment showed that the best weight ratio of cellulose acetate:acetone:formamwidaes and evaporationp eriod were 12.5:5.2:3.5a nd 45 secondr espectively;t he membraneproducedh avev olumetricf lux, rejectiono f TSS and permeation of sucrose were 6.1698V m'.hour9, 1.12% and 89o/roe spectively.
